Peace be upon you my friends

• Culture refers to the cumulative deposit of knowledge, experience, beliefs, values, attitudes, meanings, hierarchies, religion, notions of time, roles, spatial relations, concepts of the universe, and material objects and possessions acquired by a group of people in the course of generations through individual and group striving.
• Culture is the systems of knowledge shared by a relatively large group of people.
• Culture is communication, communication is culture.

There are many cultures in the world ,ancient or modern. In this article we want to shed the light on Sumerian and their culture, so I invite all the members to share us any information about such culture, about their origin whether from sky or any where, and the powers and knowledge that they introduced to the whole world.

Origin of name

The term "Sumerian" is the common name given to the ancient inhabitants of southern Mesopotamia, Sumer, by their successors, the Semitic Akkadians. The Sumerians referred to themselves as ùĝ saĝ gíg-ga, phonetically uŋ saŋ giga, literally meaning "the black-headed people".[3] The Akkadian word Shumer may represent the geographical name in dialect, but the phonological development leading to the Akkadian term šumerû is uncertain.[2][4] Biblical Shinar, Egyptian Sngr and Hittite Šanhar(a) could be western variants of Shumer.[4] Sumer was said to have influenced later societies such as Babylon, Uruk, and Egypt.

Good morning my dear friends

There are many claims about the origin of Sumerian that they are came from the universe since they had a rare knowledge that was not found in very ancient time. Also they brought a raw materials that they used to build their houses especially their City (Ur) from very far places such as Africa. The West said that they found a small shapes represents a fly machines or some thing like that, they used to bring the raw material from such a far places.

There are many famous figures during the period of Sumerian ,some of these men consider hero in their time and even in our time for their heroic works and the adventures that they did in such an old time with simple tools .Gilgamesh the famous adventurous ,that was the seeker for immortality for his friend sake ,also we have the other hero ,Enckeedo which was living the wild life with animals then by hunter he knew the real life and joined his closest friend Gilgamesh ,that were enemy for long time before their friendship.

According to their cuneiform it is used now a day in one of the well-known state which is China.
