(2) المجموعة ch


إذا سبق الحرف t المجموعة ch فتلفظ كــ(H) أمثلة:
match , scratch , stitch , watch ,
butcher, catch, kitchen


وإذا لم يسبق المجموع ch حرف t فهناك ثلاث حالات لفظية هي:

أ – في قليل من الكلمات تلفظ كــ( ش) أمثلة :
Chicago , launch , moustache


ب- وتلفظ في بعض الكلمات كــ( H) أمثلة:
each , March , much, chair, change


جـ - وتلفظ كالرمز اللفظي k اذا وقعت بعد الحرف s أمثله:
school , schoolmaster , scholar , scholarship , scholastic


وفي بعض الكلمات الاخرى أمثلة:
chord , chrome , chronology , ache ,
character . chemistry


لاتلفظ المجموعة ch في الكلمات التالية:
Yacht , fuchsia , schismatic
